Singapore

Hello from Singapore. We're stopping off here for an overnight layover prior to entering India. Singapore is a little City-State on the Malaysian archipelago. I'm not too savvy on the history of the Country, but it's a little island, connected via bridge to a larger Malaysian island. Singapore is like a little oasis of Western life in SE Asia. English is the official language, the downtown area could be Anycity, USA (or at least UK), and they cater to the business tourist. Obviously, I won't get the whole Singapore experience, spending only about 20 hours here, but the overview was pretty cool. Here's the view of downtown from my hotel (The Regent Singapore).
