We got to take a trip to Vietnam over the past week. We spent a couple days in Ho Chi Minh City at the Caravelle Hotel. That was great- could have been a luxury hotel in any major city. The traffic in HCM was absolutely amazing. The little motor-bike makes up the lion's share of the city's traffic, the roads are like little rivers of motor-bikes. Traffic "laws" are really just general guidelines to follow if the driver feels like it or not.
After our time in HCM City, we had a car take us up to Coco Beach Resort. We stayed on the beach about half-way between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne. The ocean was very warm and calm. The beach resort we stayed at was great- it had a French restaurant that was excellent. Jaime even found a place to have pizza. Now if we can get her to Africa and Australia, she'll have sampled pizza from every continent. More pictures later on... but here's a general overview of our trip.
